Golf Blue Green Pleneuf-val-andre

Practise facilities very good . Just about to tee off with my friend. Joined by a very polite elderly man in a buggy . ( I phoned the clubhouse and was informed this man booked online ) . So we had three players starting from three separate tees . A elderly four ball in front and an elderly two ball behind . I played from the white tees . I had to wait on the tee and on the fairways on every shot . The green keepers will not stop for you to play a shot and cut the grass horizontally in front of you . I observed on two occasions 8 elderly men on the greens when allowed to play through . Then we were stuck behind a three ball who didnt appear to know how to play golf . When I finally reached every green is diseased with small pot holes and the greens are not a pleasure to putt on . 4 hrs 40 mins later I was happy to finish and I was very much looking forward to playing this golf course . I would not have paid a golf fee knowing this couse appears to be played by the elderly and in other sports for example tennis . You would not expect an elderly gent to join you in a match . So this course and company are about generating money . The views are great but you don’t need to pay for them.

Marvellous! Stunning views over the ocean and the coast as well as the lively french countryside. And if there is a golf to play in this part of the cost it is THE one! Superb course, challenging but very enjoyable. With dangerous bunkers, narrow fairways, or not, with trees and roughs, lovely greens which make you think a bit. The 10th is my favourite, one if not the highest tee box and drop in Europe. Enjoyed the feeling looking at the ball flying! Saw the course in the mist at the competition Le Blot then with a marvellous weather, bit windy. Downside of the venue, the practice very short!

Extremely well placed with amazing view, but the pleneuf commune really needs to sign post the footpath around "la plage des vallees" and also the path around the golf club. There is a really nice walk to be done to the beach and around the golf course and amongst the trees back to la place des valleys but no signage this is a miss opportunity. There golf club also provides a really nice bar with amazing view There is also another building / restaurant / bar by the beach which is currently unused ('part of a camping site which closed) and seem in a good condition. I am really surprised that nobody has ywtvtaken it over. You could do so much more than just the golf itself!
